COWBOYS LIKE ME

“My Granddaddy’s Daddy crossed the Rio Grande, trying to find a better life than what he had; to plant the strongest seeds to grow the family tree for cowboys like me.”

These semi-autobiographical lyrics are the opening lines from “Cowboys Like Me,” Rick Trevino’s first single release in five years, from his forthcoming album, Long Coyote Gone. Produced and recorded by Trevino at Wire Recording in Austin, Texas, the album was co-written, over the phone, by the artist and his long-time writing partner, Alan Miller.
